Power supply

Made: summer of 2001

I got a transformer from somebody, and I designed a hobby power supply around that. This supply can produce voltages between 1.3V and 15V, and current up to 5A. There is a little square-wave generator built in, with variable frequencies from 2kHz to 100kHz. it has a PIC16F870 microcontroller, to display the voltage/current/frequency levels, and to disable the output, when the curren reaches the 6A limit. Also can be disable the output from a  pusbutton, via a JK flip-flop, and a disable transistor in the control loop. It has three PCBs, an analog a digital, and another for the seven-segment display. (my control loop is a little bugy, but i will not to prepare it)
